Terms of Service
Last updated: February 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AuthProof's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the services.
2. Description of Services
AuthProof provides tools designed to support content authenticity, authorship verification, and content analysis. Our platform helps users generate verifiable records associated with content creation and review content using a combination of authenticity signals and verification methods.
Depending on the features used, AuthProof may provide verification reports, authenticity records, confidence indicators, content analysis results, and shareable verification pages. These outputs are intended to help users evaluate and communicate content authenticity and provenance.
Verification results are based on the information, signals, and content available at the time of analysis. Users should apply their own judgment when interpreting results and determining how they are used within their workflows.
We continuously improve our services, methodologies, and verification capabilities to provide reliable and transparent authenticity tools for individuals and organizations.
3. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features of AuthProof. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you should notify us promptly.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use AuthProof responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the platform, access services through unauthorized means, or use the platform in a manner that infringes the rights of others.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit content for verification or analysis.
Verification reports, authenticity records, and related outputs should be represented accurately and in their original form when shared with others.
5. Intellectual Property
AuthProof and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the platform, software, methodologies, trademarks, branding, and related intellectual property.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform. Submission of content grants AuthProof the limited rights necessary to process, analyze, verify, and provide services requested by you.
Verification reports, authenticity records, and shareable verification pages generated through the platform may be used and shared by you in connection with your personal, educational, professional, or business activities, provided they are not altered in a misleading manner.
6. Payment Terms
Certain features of AuthProof require a paid subscription. Available plans, pricing, usage limits, and billing terms are presented at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions are available on monthly and annual billing cycles and renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
We may update pricing or plan features from time to time and will provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. For billing or subscription-related questions, please contact our support team.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable and accessible platform and continually invest in maintaining and improving service performance, security, and availability.
From time to time, maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen events may affect service availability. We work to minimize disruptions and restore services promptly whenever interruptions occur.
Additional service commitments may be provided under separate agreements for qualifying business or enterprise customers.
8. Limitation of Liability
AuthProof provides tools intended to assist users in evaluating and demonstrating content authenticity. Users remain responsible for how they interpret, rely upon, and use information generated by the platform.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AuthProof's aggregate liability arising from or related to the use of the services shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Termination
You may discontinue use of the services at any time. AuthProof may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the platform, comply with legal obligations, or address violations of these Terms.
Upon termination, access to applicable services and features may end. Users are encouraged to retain copies of any reports, records, or materials they wish to keep for their own records.
Certain provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect following termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws and regulations. The parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any disputes through good-faith discussions before pursuing formal legal remedies.
Where permitted by law, unresolved disputes may be submitted to arbitration or another mutually agreed dispute resolution process.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Updated versions will be posted on this page along with the revised effective date.
Continued use of AuthProof after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
