How AuthProof Works

From content to cryptographic proof

AuthProof is a trust and proofing layer for digital content - registering SHA-256 integrity fingerprints, building chain-of-custody records, and producing shareable verification certificates that third parties can independently inspect.

Step 01

Secure Content Ingestion

Submit any document or text into a secure, encrypted pipeline. AuthProof immediately computes a SHA-256 integrity fingerprint - the foundation of every proof record.

  • Supports PDF, DOCX, TXT, PNG, and more
  • SHA-256 hash computed at ingestion
  • Protected in transit with modern TLS encryption
  • Anonymous upload with account linking before processing
Step 02

Registry Checks

AuthProof can check for duplicate registrations. These optional lookups are informational and accompany cryptographic integrity proof.

  • Optional duplicate-registration lookups against prior records
  • Duplicate-registration advisories are informational only
  • Registry checks do not assess authorship or determine outcomes
  • Integrity proof remains primary

Optional content analysis signals are informational and probabilistic. They are not evidence of authorship and are not used to make decisions about individuals.

Step 03

Verification Report & Signing

Generate a tamper-evident verification report with a full chain-of-custody timeline. Optionally apply your Ed25519 signing key to cryptographically bind the record to your account.

  • SHA-256 content integrity hash
  • Optional Ed25519 digital signature
  • Chain-of-custody audit timeline
  • Summary and newsroom report formats
  • Exportable signed PDF artifact
Step 04

Publish & Share Proof

Share a public verification certificate anyone can inspect, embed a trust badge on your site, or distribute the signed PDF - giving readers an independently verifiable proof record.

  • Public verification certificates with integrity status
  • Embeddable trust badges
  • Print-ready verification pages
  • Revocable public links under your control

Enterprise-grade trust infrastructure

Built for organizations that require verifiable integrity proof, audit trails, and transparent verification - across journalism, education, and enterprise workflows.

Cryptographic Integrity Proof

Every record includes a SHA-256 content fingerprint and optional Ed25519 signature - providing tamper-evident evidence of what was submitted and when.

Chain-of-Custody Timeline

Full audit trail from upload through analysis, signing, and report generation - designed for editorial, and compliance review.

Transparent Proof Scope

Every public verification certificate clearly states what the record confirms - and what it does not - so recipients can evaluate proof with confidence.

You Control Your Data

Verification records are stored securely under your account. You can access, export, and delete your content and reports at any time.
